We are looking for an experienced and client-focused HR professional who can independently manage client HR operations while leading a small team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our Startup HR Solutions and HR Outsourcing services.
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager – HR Operations will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance, and client service delivery for multiple clients. The role requires hands-on execution as well as team management capabilities to ensure high-quality service delivery across all assigned accounts.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of payroll processing, labour law compliance, HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service Delivery
- Manage end-to-end HR operations delivery for assigned clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client HR operational requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all HR service commitments.
- Conduct regular client reviews and address service-related concerns.
- Maintain high client satisfaction and retention levels.
Startup HR Solutions Implementation
- Implement and manage Startup HR Service Packages.
- Design and deploy HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and HR processes.
- Establish attendance, leave, and employee records management systems.
- Support clients in setting up HR frameworks and compliance processes.
- Advise clients on HR best practices and statutory requirements.
Payroll Management
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Manage salary computation, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and full-and-final settlements.
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and salary registers.
- Handle payroll audits and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure timely salary processing and statutory deductions.
Statutory Compliance Management
- Manage PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and Labour Law compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and remittances.
- Coordinate inspections, notices, and compliance audits.
- Maintain compliance records and statutory registers.
- Stay updated with labour law amendments and regulatory changes.
HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Draft appointment letters, increment letters, transfer letters, warning letters, and other HR documents.
- Handle leave and attendance management.
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide HR Operations Executives and Payroll Executives.
- Allocate work and monitor service delivery timelines.
- Review deliverables before submission to clients.
- Train team members on payroll, compliance, and HR processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal quality standards.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Develop and improve operational SOPs and workflows.
- Track client deliverables and service-level commitments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency.
